Microconnect FIB884015 InfiniBand/sklenené vlákno kábel 15 m SC žltý

Microconnect FIB884015 is a 15 m single-mode (OS2) InfiniBand fibre optic cable with SC connectors and a 9 µm core diameter. The yellow LSZH jacketed patch cord supports full duplex communication and is designed for use in enterprise networks, telecom rooms, server farms and cloud storage networks. It is suitable for high-speed Ethernet and InfiniBand links and complies with common industry standards for fibre cabling.

Advantages

The cable provides low-loss single-mode transmission over long distances and supports 1G/10G/40G/100G Ethernet and InfiniBand connections. Its OS2 fibre and SC terminations deliver reliable full duplex performance. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic gas in case of fire and the 15 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack and equipment-to-equipment connections.

Suitable for

• Data centre rack connections
• Enterprise backbone and Telecom rooms
• Server farms and cloud storage networks
• High-speed InfiniBand and Ethernet links (1G–100G)

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust before installation and use appropriate dust caps when idle. Route the 15 m cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for single-mode cables. Plug SC connectors into matching SC ports until they click into place, ensuring correct polarity for full duplex links. Test the link with appropriate optical test equipment after installation.

Recommendations

The Microconnect FIB884015 is intended for indoor network environments; avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and outdoor conditions. Use in combination with compatible SC ports and patch panels and follow data centre cabling best practices to maintain signal integrity.
