Microconnect SFTP703O sieťový kábel oranžový 3 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SFTP703O is a 3 m Cat7 networking cable with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It is designed to provide a high-speed, reliable connection between network devices such as switches, modems, routers or to structured infrastructure via patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets. The cable is commonly used in small office, home network and entertainment setups and is manufactured in a distinctive orange colour for easy identification.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable is tested up to 600 MHz while using Cat6a-compatible RJ-45 connectors, offering backward compatibility with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5. The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, helping maintain data integrity and stable transmission rates. A reinforced strain relief (snagless design) protects the connector during installation in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and modems to network infrastructure
• Patch panel or keystone jack terminations
• Small office and home network cabling
• Multimedia and entertainment systems

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat7 (cable tested up to 600 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends (Cat6a-compatible)
• Length: 3 m
• Colour: Orange
• Weight: approx. 0.03 kg

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding network ports on your devices or into patch panels and wall outlets. Route the cable through conduits or cable channels as needed, taking care not to bend the cable sharply at the connector end. Ensure connectors are fully seated to establish secure electrical contact and test the link with appropriate network testing tools if required.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to heavy power lines and keep bend radius within manufacturer limits. Use the orange colour to mark and identify the connection in multi-cable installations.
