Microconnect SFTP7075O sieťový kábel oranžový 7,5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SFTP7075O RJ-45 Cat7 7.5m Orange is a shielded networking cable designed for reliable connections between network devices such as switches, modems, routers and infrastructure points like patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets. The cable follows the Cat7 standard and is manufactured with RJ-45 connectors, offering backward compatibility with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 installations. With a 7.5 m length and an orange jacket, it is suited for small office, home network and entertainment applications where a visible, durable cable is required.

Advantages

The SFTP construction (shielded pairs with overall foil) reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, helping to maintain signal integrity and lower transmission errors. Although the cable is rated to Cat7 performance (tested up to 600 MHz), it uses RJ-45 terminations that meet Cat6a minimum connector standards (up to 500 MHz) and remain backwards compatible with earlier Ethernet categories. The included snagless boot protects the connector latch during installation in tight spaces, and the durable orange jacket improves identification and routing in cabling setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and modems to patch panels or wall outlets
• Small office and home network cabling
• Audio/video and entertainment system connections
• Environments where shielded cable is needed to reduce EMI

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat7 (S/FTP shielding)
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Length: 7.5 m
• Colour: Orange
• Tested frequency: up to 600 MHz (Cat7 standard); connectors meet Cat6a connector standard up to 500 MHz
• Weight: 0.03 kg

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices or into a keystone jack/patch panel. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic noise when possible. If installing through confined spaces, use the snagless boot to protect the latch from catching or damage. Confirm link/activity LEDs on connected devices to verify a successful connection and proper negotiation of network speed.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable in shielded or grounded installations where EMI is present and ensure connectors and patch panels are compatible with shielded terminations. Avoid excessive bending radius and mechanical strain to maintain long-term reliability.
