Microconnect SSTP601O sieťový kábel oranžový 1 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SSTP601O S/FTP Cat6 networking cable is a 1 m orange cable designed for connecting network devices such as switches, modems or routers to each other or to structured infrastructure via patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets. It meets Cat6 specifications with testing up to 250 MHz, supports data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s, and features shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

Shielding (S/FTP) minimises EMI and crosstalk, preserving signal integrity and reducing transmission errors. The cable is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 installations, enabling easy upgrades without replacing existing infrastructure. A reinforced latch protector helps prevent connector damage during installation in tight spaces. The bright orange colour simplifies identification within cable bundles.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and modems in small office and home networks
• Patch panel and keystone jack terminations in structured cabling
• Multimedia and entertainment device connections requiring high bandwidth

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6 (tested up to 250 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 1 m
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Orange
• Weight: 0.04 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end of the Microconnect SSTP601O to your network device (switch, router or modem) and the other end to the destination device or to a patch panel, keystone jack or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages; the latch protector reduces the risk of damage when routing the cable through confined spaces. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic fields for optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use this S/FTP Cat6 cable in environments where EMI may be present or where high data rates are required. Keep cable runs within recommended lengths for your network equipment and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines.
