Megasat Multiswitch 17/8 (model 0600154) distributes satellite and terrestrial signals from a connected LNB and terrestrial antenna to multiple receivers. The unit has 17 inputs and 8 outputs, centralising connections for shared homes or small commercial installations and enabling reliable TV signal distribution to several rooms.

Advantages

The Multiswitch 17/8 supports combined satellite and terrestrial input, offers eight F-type HF outputs for connection to set-top boxes or satellite receivers, and includes 16 F-type satellite antenna inputs for multi-LNB setups. How to use

Connect the satellite LNB cables and the terrestrial antenna to the corresponding F-type input connectors on the multiswitch. Run coaxial cables from the eight HF F-type outputs to the receivers or set-top boxes in each room. Ensure all connections are tightened and powered according to the receivers' and LNB's requirements; if the multiswitch requires external power, follow the manufacturer's instructions for the power supply.

Recommendations

Install the multiswitch in a dry, ventilated location close to the incoming antenna/LNB cables to minimise cable runs. Use quality coaxial cables and properly tightened F-type connectors to reduce signal loss. For larger installations or long cable runs, consider signal amplifiers or professional commissioning to ensure optimal signal levels.
