The Lanberg RSFE-8P-2GE-120 is an unmanaged PoE+ Ethernet switch designed for small to medium installations such as homes, offices, surveillance and low-voltage systems. The device combines data switching and power delivery over the same cabling, providing PoE/PoE+ (IEEE 802.3af/at) support with a total power budget of up to 120 W. The switch includes eight PoE-capable RJ-45 ports and two Gigabit uplink ports for connecting external devices or upstream network equipment.

How to use

Ensure total powered device consumption does not exceed the 120 W PoE budget; when the budget limit is reached the switch will disable higher-numbered PoE ports first. Use standard Cat5e/6 cables for data and power transmission and follow local installation and grounding practices.

Recommendations

The device is best installed in ventilated, dry environments and connected to properly earthed infrastructure.
