Nespravovaný switch Digitus DN-60021-2 24 port Fast Ethernet

The DIGITUS Unmanaged Switch DN-60021-2 provides 24 Fast Ethernet 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 ports with auto negotiation and Auto MDI/MDIX support, allowing easy expansion of wired networks for servers, PCs, notebooks and other devices. The compact, rack-mountable switch complies with IEEE standards and includes a MAC address table for reliable frame forwarding in small to medium-sized networks.

Advantages

This 24-port Fast Ethernet switch offers plug-and-play operation as an unmanaged device, automatic full-duplex and half-duplex detection, and Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) for reduced power consumption. Auto MDI/MDIX on all ports removes the need for crossover cables or dedicated uplink ports, simplifying installation and lowering operational costs.

Suitable for

• Small to medium-sized office networks
• Connecting multiple servers in a workgroup
• Expanding wired connections for PCs and notebooks
• Basic rack-mounted network installations

How to use

Install the DIGITUS DN-60021-2 in a suitable rack or on a flat surface and connect each device to the RJ-45 ports using standard Ethernet cables. The switch operates as plug-and-play with no configuration required. Devices will negotiate link speed and duplex automatically; use Cat5e or better cabling for optimal 100 Mbps performance. Ensure proper ventilation and stable power connection during operation.

Recommendations

For best results, place the switch in a ventilated cabinet or shelf and connect servers and core devices using high-quality cables. Monitor network performance at endpoints when deploying multiple high-traffic servers to avoid bottlenecks inherent to Fast Ethernet speeds.
