NETGEAR GSM4248PX-100EUS sieťový switch Managed L2/L3/L4 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) Power over Ethernet (PoE) čierna

The NETGEAR AV Line of M4250 Switches is designed for professional audio/video (AV) deployments that require reliable network performance and AV-specific features. Built on NETGEAR's enterprise networking experience, the M4250 series targets AV-over-IP systems using 1 Gbps codecs and includes PoE+, Ultra90 PoE++ options and rear-facing ports to simplify rack integration. Switches ship with standard AV port configurations and offer an AV-focused web interface for port-based customization and profiles for popular audio and video AV technologies.

Advantages

M4250 switches provide pre-configured AV settings for rapid deployment while allowing advanced customization through a dedicated AV web GUI. Color-coded, port-based profiles make it simple to assign settings for Dante, Q-SYS, AES67 and other audio formats. Video and mixed audio/video/control profiles are also available for systems such as NVX, SVSI, NDI and Q-SYS. Power-over-Ethernet support (PoE+, Ultra90 PoE++) and rear-facing ports help maintain clean cabling in AV racks. When used in multi-switch environments, NETGEAR Auto-Trunk, Auto-LAG and IGMP Plus simplify interconnect and multicast management.

Key specifications

• Target market: AV-over-IP deployments (primarily 1 Gbps codecs)
• AV profiles: Dante, Q-SYS, AES67 (audio); NVX, SVSI, Q-SYS, NDI, Dante (video)
• AVB support: available via separate license
• PoE options: PoE+ and Ultra90 PoE++
• Port layout options: front and rear-facing port availability for rack integration
• Management: dedicated AV web-based GUI with port-based profile configuration
• Multi-switch features: NETGEAR Auto-Trunk, Auto-LAG and IGMP Plus for automatic interconnect and multicast handling

How to use

Install the M4250 switch in the AV rack and connect networked AV devices to the appropriate ports, using rear-facing ports where available to keep cabling tidy. Access the dedicated AV web interface to select or apply color-coded port profiles for audio, video or mixed AV/control streams. Enable PoE or PoE++ per device requirements and, if using AVB, purchase and install the AVB license to activate that profile. When multiple M4250 (or compatible M4300/M4500) switches are deployed, connect them and rely on Auto-Trunk, Auto-LAG and IGMP Plus to automate trunking and multicast behaviors.

Recommendations

For Dante, Q-SYS or AES67 audio systems and common 1 Gbps video codecs, use the provided audio/video profiles to minimize manual configuration. Purchase the AVB license only if your installation requires AVB support. For larger installations, combine M4250 switches with M4300 or M4500 series and enable NETGEAR IGMP Plus to simplify multicast routing and reduce configuration overhead.
