Obojstranná lepiaca páska 3M 983XL, 50 m × 24 mm, biely papierový nosič

3M 983XL double-sided tape, 50 m × 24 mm, with a white paper carrier provides a thin, uniform adhesive layer for assembly, mounting and packaging tasks. The tape is designed for general-purpose joining of paper, cardboard, plastics and other lightweight materials where a low-profile bond and easy handling are required. Its white paper carrier ensures straightforward cutting and application while maintaining a neat appearance on the bonded surfaces.

Advantages

The tape delivers reliable initial tack and consistent adhesion across its length, enabling quick positioning and secure temporary or semi-permanent bonds. The paper carrier allows controlled application and clean release of the backing. Because the adhesive film is thin, the joined materials remain close together, reducing visible seams and bulk at the joint. The product is compatible with common substrates used in packaging, graphic mounting and light assembly.

Suitable for

• Mounting paper, cardstock and lightweight board
• Temporary or semi-permanent fixing of plastics and foils
• Graphic applications and poster mounting
• General packaging, sealing and splicing where a slim bond is needed

Key specifications

• Tape length: 50 metres
• Tape width: 24 millimetres
• Carrier material: white paper
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive double-sided adhesive
• Profile: thin, low-build adhesive layer for minimal joint thickness
• Color: white carrier (adhesive film typically transparent or color-neutral)

How to use

Ensure bonding surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, oil or other contaminants. Cut the required length of tape and remove the protective liner as needed. Apply the adhesive side firmly to the primary surface, smoothing to remove air pockets, then align and press the second surface into place to obtain good contact. Apply uniform pressure over the bonded area to improve initial tack and overall adhesion. For best results, allow time for the bond to develop under ambient conditions.

Recommendations

Use at room temperature on smooth, non-porous or lightly porous substrates. Avoid exposure to high humidity or extreme temperatures during application. Test compatibility on sensitive plastics or coatings before full use. Store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain adhesive performance.
