Obojstranná lepiaca páska Tesa 4965 15 mm x 50 m, polyester, vysokopevnostná lepiaca páska

Tesa 4965 double-sided tape is a polyester-based adhesive tape 15 mm wide and 50 m long with a high-strength permanent adhesive. The tape is designed to create a thin, durable bond between a wide range of substrates, combining a stable polyester carrier with an aggressive adhesive that delivers long-term fixation and good shear resistance in indoor environments. Its narrow width and long roll length make it suitable for precision mounting, lamination and assembly tasks where a discreet joint and reliable hold are required.

Advantages

The polyester carrier provides dimensional stability and a smooth surface that resists elongation and tearing, while the high-strength permanent adhesive forms rapid initial tack and durable adhesion to many materials. The tape's thin profile minimises gap height and visible joints, and the permanent adhesive maintains bond strength over time. As a double-sided solution, it eliminates the need for mechanical fasteners in many applications and supports clean, low-profile assembly.

Suitable for

• Mounting nameplates, trim and decorative mouldings
• Laminating thin materials such as foils and films
• Joining plastics, metals and coated surfaces in light assembly
• Craft, model making and precise bonding tasks
• Temporary jigs, fixtures and positioning during production

Key specifications

• Carrier material: polyester film for dimensional stability
• Adhesive type: high-strength permanent acrylic-based adhesive
• Width: 15 mm
• Length: 50 m
• Thickness: thin profile suitable for low gap bonding
• Performance: good shear resistance and long-term fixation on many substrates
• Application temperature: suitable for typical indoor assembly conditions

How to use

Ensure both bonding surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease, dust and loose particles before application. Cut the required length from the roll, remove the liner and carefully align the tape to one substrate. Apply firm pressure across the bonded area to achieve good contact and initial tack; a roller or squeegee can improve adhesion and remove trapped air. For best long-term performance, allow the adhesive to develop full bond strength over time and avoid immediate heavy loads on the joint.

Recommendations

Use on smooth, flat surfaces for optimal adhesion; rough or highly textured substrates may reduce contact and bond strength. Avoid exposure to solvents, prolonged high humidity or extreme temperature cycles unless verified for the specific application. Test adhesion on representative materials before full production use.
