Ochranná pokrývka hlavy Uvex 9794404

The Uvex u-cap sport is a sporty bump cap that offers reliable head protection while maintaining a lightweight, comfortable fit. Designed for workplaces where helmets are not mandatory, this safety headgear reduces the risk of head injury through an innovative hard shell with a honeycomb "armadillo" structure and integrated shock-absorbing elements. The shortened brim improves upward vision, and the cap is available in several size ranges and black colour. Model 9794404 corresponds to size range 60–63 cm.

Advantages

The cap combines EN 812-compliant impact protection with a breathable, lightweight construction and adjustable straps for a secure fit. Its hard shell with honeycomb structure distributes and absorbs impacts, while the shortened visor increases the field of upward vision. The cap can be individually embroidered for identification or branding.

How to use

Place the u-cap sport on the head and adjust the internal straps so the cap sits securely and comfortably around the head circumference. Ensure the hard shell rests over the crown for correct impact protection. Use the shortened brim to maintain a clear upward field of vision. Follow workplace procedures for cleaning and inspect the cap regularly for damage or wear; replace if impact-absorbing elements are compromised.

Recommendations

Use this bump cap where EN 812-compliant protection is appropriate; it is not a substitute for industrial safety helmets required by specific regulations. Do not use if the cap shows cracks, deformations or significant wear to the impact-absorbing structure.
