Ochranné puzdro pre montážnu hlavu EQ6, Sky-Watcher SW-8111 – robustné, ľahké transportné puzdro

Protective carry case designed specifically for the EQ6 mount head, Sky-Watcher SW-8111 provides lightweight, durable protection for transporting and storing the mount head. The cover shields the instrument from impacts, dust and moisture while offering a compact solution for safe handling between observation sessions or during travel. The design fits the EQ6 head profile to secure the mount without bulk and allows easy access when mounting or stowing the unit.

Advantages

The case combines a durable outer shell with a padded interior to absorb shocks and reduce the risk of scratches or dents. Its weather-resistant materials help limit ingress of dust and light moisture, and reinforced seams and zippers improve long-term reliability. The lightweight construction keeps additional transport weight to a minimum while the tailored shape ensures a snug fit that prevents the mount head from shifting inside the case.

Suitable for

• Transporting an EQ6 mount head to observing sites
• Storing the mount head between observation sessions
• Protecting the mount during car travel or short-term field deployment
• Hobbyist and semi-professional astronomers needing a compact, protective cover

Key specifications

• Compatibility: designed for EQ6 mount head profile
• Construction: durable outer material with padded interior
• Weather resistance: protects against dust and light moisture
• Fastening: reinforced zipper closure and seam construction
• Portability: lightweight design with integrated handle for carrying

How to use

Place the EQ6 mount head into the case so that the base and counterweight shaft area align with the internal padding. Close the reinforced zipper fully to ensure the cover seals around the mount head. Use the integrated handle to lift and carry the case; when storing the unit, keep the case in a dry, ventilated area to prevent prolonged exposure to humidity. For transport, secure the case inside your vehicle so it cannot shift during travel.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the case, seams and zipper for wear and clean the exterior with a damp cloth. Avoid exposing the case to prolonged heavy rain or submersion. For longer storage, remove any batteries and electronic accessories from the mount head and allow the instrument to dry before closing the case.
