ONU GPON HUAWEI HG8345R (4 FE porty + Wi‑Fi) trieda C+ s internou anténou

HUAWEI HG8345R is a GPON ONU designed for residential and small business broadband access. The unit offers four Fast Ethernet (FE) ports and integrated Wi‑Fi via an internal antenna, operating as a Class C+ ONT to connect to GPON networks and deliver internet, voice and IPTV services. The compact form factor and basic port set make it suitable for home routers, apartments and small office deployments where GPON connectivity is provided by the service provider.

Advantages

The HG8345R combines wired and wireless access in a single device, providing four FE ports for local wired connections and internal antenna Wi‑Fi for wireless devices without requiring an external access point. As a Class C+ ONU it supports the GPON connection model used by many service providers, enabling straightforward installation and integration into existing fiber-to-the-home or fiber-to-the-building networks. The device’s compact footprint simplifies placement in a residential or small office environment.

Suitable for

• Home broadband connections relying on GPON network infrastructure
• Small offices and apartments requiring a basic combination of wired and wireless access
• Deployments where four FE ports are sufficient for local wired devices (PCs, printers, IP set‑top boxes)
• Service provider installations that provision Class C+ ONTs

Key specifications

• Access technology: GPON (optical network unit for fiber broadband)
• Device class: Class C+ ONT
• Wired interfaces: 4 × Fast Ethernet (FE) ports for LAN connectivity
• Wireless: Integrated internal antenna providing Wi‑Fi access
• Services supported: Internet access, voice and IPTV delivery over GPON
• Form factor: Compact indoor unit suitable for residential and small office placement

How to use

Install the HG8345R by connecting the optical fiber cable from the service provider to the GPON optical port on the unit and powering the device with the supplied adapter. Connect wired devices to any of the four FE LAN ports for Ethernet access. Configure wireless settings using the device’s web management interface or the provisioning method specified by the service provider to set SSID, security (WPA2/WPA3 if supported by firmware) and administrative credentials. Follow any activation or authentication steps required by your operator to register the ONT on the GPON network and enable internet, voice and IPTV services.

Recommendations

Place the ONU in a central indoor location to maximise wireless coverage from the internal antenna and avoid physical obstructions near the unit. For devices requiring higher throughput than Fast Ethernet, consider using a separate gigabit switch or router with WAN support downstream of one FE port if available from your operator. Keep firmware up to date and use strong Wi‑Fi and administration passwords as provided by the service provider or set during initial configuration.
