Optické pigtaily Digitus LC OM3 50/125 µ Simplex 2m

The DIGITUS® Fiber Optic Colored Pigtails provide future-oriented standards and high-end quality for network connectivity. Available in LC simplex, SC simplex and ST simplex connector styles and in fiber classes OS2, OM2, OM3 and OM4, these pigtails deliver reliable performance and consistent link quality. Each connector meets IEC 61754-4:2002 and uses a zirconia ceramic ferrule. Colored buffers follow IEC 304 coding (white, violet, turquoise, black, red, pink, orange, gray, green, yellow, brown, blue).

Advantages

Colored buffer jackets simplify identification and management of individual fiber connections, reducing installation time and errors. Compliance with IEC 61754-4:2002 and use of zirconia ferrules ensure stable optical performance and low insertion loss. Availability in multiple connector types and fiber classes allows flexible use across different network designs and bandwidth requirements.

Key specifications

• Connector types: LC simplex, SC simplex, ST simplex
• Fiber classes: OS2, OM2, OM3, OM4
• Connector standard: IEC 61754-4:2002
• Ferrule material: zirconia ceramic
• Buffer color coding: IEC 304 (white, violet, turquoise, black, red, pink, orange, gray, green, yellow, brown, blue)

How to use

Choose the connector type and fiber class that match your network equipment and link requirements. Prepare the fiber panel or adapter and insert the pigtail connector into the corresponding adapter or transceiver until it clicks into place. Route the colored buffer cables according to your labeling and splice or terminate the pigtail to the in-cabinet fibers following standard fiber handling practices. Verify optical continuity and insertion loss after installation.

Recommendations

Handle the zirconia ferrules and fiber ends with clean tools and appropriate cleaning materials to maintain low loss. Store unused pigtails in protective packaging to avoid contamination or damage. For best performance choose the fiber class (OS2, OM2, OM3, OM4) that matches your link distance and bandwidth needs.
