optický duplexný kábel FISCHER C2G 10Gb 50/125 OM3 PVC 10Gb/s 50/125µm OM3 duplex

Duplex fiber optic cable FISCHER C2G 10Gb 50/125 OM3 PVC is a multimode patch cable designed for 10 Gb/s network environments. It uses 50/125 µm core/cladding multimode fibers with OM3 modal bandwidth, suitable for high-speed short-range links such as data centre interconnects, server uplinks and LAN backbone segments. The PVC outer jacket offers flexibility for routing in patch panels and conduits while maintaining protection for the fiber cores.

Advantages

The cable supports 10 Gb/s transmission over multimode infrastructure with OM3-rated performance, enabling reliable short-range high-bandwidth connections. Its duplex construction provides simultaneous transmit and receive channels in a single assembly, reducing cabling complexity. The PVC jacket delivers mechanical protection and ease of installation in indoor environments without adding excessive stiffness. Connectors and termination compatibility with standard multimode ports simplify integration into existing systems.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching between switches and servers
• LAN backbone and horizontal runs within buildings
• Server room uplinks and top-of-rack connections
• High-density patch panels and cable management systems

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• OM rating: OM3
• Data rate support: up to 10 Gb/s
• Jacket material: PVC (indoor use)
• Duplex configuration for transmit and receive
• Designed for short-range, high-bandwidth multimode links

How to use

Install the duplex fiber optic cable by connecting each end to the corresponding multimode ports on network equipment, ensuring correct transmit-to-receive alignment. Route the cable through patch panels or cable management channels, avoiding tight bends and excessive pulling force. For best performance, keep connectors clean and use dust caps when ports are not in use. Verify link integrity with appropriate optical testers or by confirming network connectivity at the expected data rate.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 multimode duplex cable for indoor short-range applications where 10 Gb/s performance is required. Maintain bend radius guidelines, avoid exposure to outdoor elements, and replace or reterminate connectors if physical damage or contamination is observed to preserve signal quality.
