Optický duplexný kábel LC/SC InLine 88638 50/125µm OM2 25 m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/SC 50/125µm OM2 25m is a duplex multimode fiber patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission between network devices. Featuring LC connector on one end and SC connector on the other, the cable uses 50/125µm multimode OM2 fiber and provides reliable signal integrity over a 25 metre distance. The duplex configuration supports simultaneous bi-directional communication, making it suitable for standard networking setups that require separate transmit and receive channels.

Advantages

This fiber cable ensures low attenuation and stable performance across the specified 25 m span thanks to its 50/125µm OM2 multimode construction. The mixed LC to SC connector ends provide compatibility with a wide range of switches, transceivers and patch panels, simplifying integration into existing infrastructures. The duplex design enables straightforward full-duplex links without additional wiring, and the cable jacket and connector ferrules are manufactured to industry tolerances for consistent optical alignment.

Suitable for

• Connecting network switches, routers and transceivers in data centers and server rooms
• Patch panel to active equipment links in structured cabling systems
• Short- to medium-range multimode fiber connections within commercial or residential buildings
• Linking fiber media converters or optical modules with LC and SC interfaces

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM2
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Length: 25 m
• Connector type: LC on one end, SC on the other (duplex)
• Duplex configuration for separate TX/RX channels
• Typical applications: Short- to medium-range optical data links

How to use

Verify that connected devices accept LC and SC terminations and that they are configured for multimode operation. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain minimum bend radius as recommended for multimode fiber. Align the LC and SC connectors with the corresponding ports and insert until the connector latches engage. For duplex operation, ensure each fiber strand is connected to the correct transmit and receive ports at both ends to maintain proper bidirectional communication.

Recommendations

Clean connector endfaces before installation using appropriate fiber cleaning tools and verify link performance with an optical tester after connection. Avoid excessive pulling force and protect the cable from sharp edges and crushing to preserve optical performance over time.
