Optický jumper kábel ROLINE 50/125µm OM3 LC/LC Low-Loss 5m

The ROLINE FO Jumper Cable 50/125µm OM3 LC/LC Low-Loss 5m provides a 5-meter duplex multimode fiber link with OM3 specification and LC connectors on both ends. Designed for high-bandwidth data transmission, the cable uses a 50 µm core diameter and low-loss LC terminations to reduce insertion loss and reflection compared with standard connectors. The cable is finished in turquoise and assembled following ROLINE quality standards.

Advantages

Low-loss LC connectors significantly lower insertion loss (typical 0.15 dB) compared with standard LC connectors (typical 0.5 dB), improving signal strength and reducing reflections. OM3 multimode fiber supports very high bandwidths suitable for modern network infrastructures. Material choice and assembly comply with ROLINE quality to ensure consistent performance and reliability.

Suitable for

• Data center interconnects and server links
• High-speed LAN and campus networks
• Fiber patch panels and switch-to-switch connections
• Multimode backbone and horizontal cabling

Key specifications

How to use

Route the 5 m duplex cable between the two devices or patch panel ports ensuring connectors are clean before insertion. Align the LC connectors with the equipment ports and push until the latch clicks. Use both fibers for full-duplex operation following the equipment manufacturer’s TX/RX port labeling. Avoid tight bends and secure the cable to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before installation and perform loss measurements if link budget margins are critical. Store and handle the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress to maintain low insertion loss performance.
