Optický kábel DeLOCK LC na LC multimode OM3 5 m

The DeLOCK Optical Fibre Cable LC to LC Multi-mode OM3, 5 m, features a 50 µm core diameter and supports full duplex communication for reliable high-speed data transmission between networking devices. It is suitable for connecting switches, media converters and similar equipment where OM3 multimode fibre cabling is required.

Advantages

This OM3 multi-mode LC to LC cable provides stable signal transmission with a standardized 50 µm core, supports full duplex links, and is manufactured for consistent performance and durability in typical network environments. Its 5 m length offers flexibility for short to medium interconnections without introducing unnecessary slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to media converters
• Patch connections in data centres and server rooms
• Linking networking equipment that requires LC to LC OM3 multimode fibre

How to use

Inspect the LC connectors and fibre ends before installation to ensure they are clean and undamaged. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port on the devices (for example, a switch and a media converter) until they click into place. Ensure full duplex ports are used on both ends for bidirectional transmission. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress that could degrade optical performance.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before connection, avoid bending the cable beyond the manufacturer's recommended minimum bend radius, and secure the cable to prevent tension or kinks.
