Optický kábel EFB Elektronik 55224.1OM3 A-DQ(ZN) B2Y 2m čierny

The EFB Elektronik 55224.1OM3 A-DQ(ZN) B2Y is a 2 m OM3 multimode fibre optic cable designed for fixed outdoor installation. It features an A-DQ(ZN) B2Y construction suitable for burial and for placement in cable ducts, tubes and interconnections, providing reliable high-speed data transmission for networking and data-center environments. The black outer jacket offers a professional appearance and protection against environmental exposure.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable supports OM3 multimode performance for high-bandwidth links and short-range high-speed connections. The A-DQ(ZN) B2Y design allows direct burial and installation in ducts and tubes. Mechanical installation by winch is allowed only when using force meters with a recording function, helping to protect the fibre during deployment. The product is supplied without connectors, enabling custom terminations to match site requirements.

Suitable for

• Fixed outdoor installations
• Placement in cable ducts, tubes and interconnection points
• Direct buried (underground) laying
• Data centre and short-reach high-speed network links

How to use

Plan the route for the cable considering ducts, tubes or direct burial requirements. For installations using a winch, attach and monitor a force meter with recording capability to avoid exceeding the permitted tensile load during pulling. Terminate the cable ends with appropriate connectors or splice in a controlled environment following standard fibre handling and polishing procedures. Ensure correct bending radius and protect the cable at entry and exit points to prevent mechanical damage.

Recommendations

Use this cable for fixed outdoor and underground installations where OM3 multimode performance is required; always follow mechanical installation limits and use force meters with recording function when pulling with a winch to protect the fibre.
