Optický kábel EFB Elektronik O0312.40 40 m LC aqua

The EFB Elektronik O0312.40 is a 40 m OM3 fibre optic cable with LC connectors and an aqua jacket. It has a 50 µm core and supports full duplex communication, meeting structured cabling standards (ISO/IEC 11801) for reliable high-speed data transfer with low signal loss.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre jumper offers high bandwidth for short- to medium-range connections, standardized LC terminations for broad compatibility, and an aqua-coloured jacket for easy identification in patch panels and cable runs. The 50 µm core supports multimode transmission suitable for modern network equipment.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and rack-to-rack connections
• High-speed local area network (LAN) links
• Server to switch full duplex connections
• Structured cabling installations conforming to ISO/IEC 11801

How to use

Route the LC–LC OM3 cable between the required ports on network devices or patch panels, ensuring connectors are clean before mating. Align and insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC adapter or transceiver until it clicks. Maintain proper bend radius during installation and secure the cable to prevent stress on the connectors. For full duplex links, use separate fibres for transmit and receive as indicated by the device markings.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, clean connectors with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before every connection, avoid exceeding the recommended bend radius, and store the cable in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use.
