Optický kábel EFB Elektronik O0319.2 — OM4, 2 m, LC na LC, 50 µm, plný duplex, fialový

EFB Elektronik O0319.2 is a 2 m OM4 multimode fibre optic cable with LC to LC connectors and a 50 µm core diameter, designed for full‑duplex high‑speed data transmission. The cable’s violet jacket denotes OM4 multimode specification and supports short‑reach links with low attenuation, suitable for rack‑to‑rack, server and storage area network connections. The compact LC connectors provide space‑efficient port usage and the cable assembly is intended for reliable connectivity in data centres and high‑density network environments.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable provides low insertion loss and controlled modal bandwidth for improved performance at 850 nm and 1300 nm wavelengths. The LC to LC duplex termination reduces port footprint while maintaining polarity for full‑duplex links. The 2 m length is convenient for standard rack and patching applications without excessive slack, and the violet jacket color allows quick visual identification of OM4 multimode links among other fibre types.

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex
• Cable length: 2 m
• Jacket color: violet (OM4 identification)
• Transmission: full‑duplex
• Optimized wavelength: 850 nm and compatible with 1300 nm

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or damage before mating. Align LC connectors with the corresponding LC ports and insert until the latch clicks to ensure secure engagement. Maintain proper bend radius for multimode fibre during routing to avoid increased attenuation; avoid sharp bends and tight cable ties. For polarity‑sensitive installations, observe correct duplex orientation to preserve transmit/receive mapping. When disconnecting, depress the LC latch and pull straight out to prevent connector damage.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a clean environment; use dust caps on unused connectors. Clean connectors with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if contamination is suspected. For permanent installations in data centres, label both ends to reflect link endpoints and verify link performance with an optical loss test set or certified transceiver diagnostics.
