Optický kábel EFB Elektronik O0323FT.50 50 m LC SC fialový

The EFB Elektronik O0323FT.50 is a 50 m OM4 fibre optic flat twin duplex jumper with LC and SC connectors. The cable has a 50 µm core diameter and a violet outer jacket for easy identification. An additional outer jacket gives the jumper higher mechanical stability compared with standard jumpers, while the jacket material is LSZH for reduced smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire.

Advantages

The flat twin duplex design simplifies routing and saves space in cable trays and patch panels. The reinforced outer jacket increases durability and resistance to mechanical stress. LSZH jacket material reduces hazardous emissions and suits indoor installations where low-smoke, low-halogen properties are required.

Suitable for

• Data centres and server rooms
• High‑performance OM4 networks
• Patching between LC and SC ports
• Indoor installations requiring LSZH cable

How to use

Route the flat twin duplex jumper between equipment ports or patch panels, aligning the LC and SC connectors with their respective sockets. Avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force when installing; follow standard fibre handling practices to prevent microbends and contamination. Ensure connectors are clean before mating and secure any slack to prevent strain on the connectors and cable.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use this OM4 cable in environments where high bandwidth and low attenuation are required. Clean connectors with appropriate fibre cleaning tools prior to connection and maintain bend radius above the manufacturer’s minimum recommendation. Consider using labelled cable management to take advantage of the violet colour coding for organised installation.
