Optický kábel Qoltec 54356 2x SC OM4 10 m zelený

The Qoltec 54356 fibre optic cable is a 10 m green OM4 duplex assembly with 2x SC connectors on each end, designed for high-speed data transmission in networking and server environments. Built to maintain signal integrity over longer distances than lower-grade multimode fibres, the OM4 core supports higher bandwidth and reduced modal dispersion. The green jacket provides easy visual identification in structured cabling systems.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre optic cable offers low attenuation and consistent performance for multimode applications, with SC duplex terminations that provide secure and simple snap-in connections. The 10 m length covers common inter-rack or intra-rack runs without introducing unnecessary slack. The green outer jacket improves cable management and identification in dense cable bundles.

Suitable for

• Data centre interconnects and patching
• High-performance computing clusters and server rooms
• Multimode fibre networks requiring OM4 performance
• Structured cabling where color-coded identification is needed

Key specifications

• Cable type: OM4 multimode fibre
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: 2x SC on each end (duplex)
• Jacket colour: Green

How to use

Route the Qoltec 54356 cable between fibre patch panels, switches or transceivers that accept SC duplex connectors. Ensure connector endfaces are clean before insertion to prevent signal loss; use appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Insert each SC connector until it clicks into the adapter or port, and secure cable routing to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress. Observe standard multimode fibre handling practices to maintain performance.

Recommendations

Store and install the cable avoiding bend radii below the manufacturer’s recommended limits for OM4 multimode fibre. Clean connector endfaces prior to connection, label both ends for easy identification, and use the cable for horizontal or backbone runs within its 10 m length to ensure optimal performance.
