Optický kábel S/CONN ShiverPeaks 77932/3 2 m LC tyrkysový

The ShiverPeaks S/CONN 77932/3 is a 2 m OM3 fibre optic cable with LC connectors, designed for high-speed, full duplex data transmission in modern network environments. With a 50 µm core diameter and OM3 multimode specification, the cable supports reliable short- to medium-range links typically used in data centres, server rooms and enterprise networking racks. The turquoise jacket indicates OM3 classification and helps with quick identification during installation and maintenance.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable delivers low insertion loss and stable signal performance across multimode links, enabling consistent throughput for applications that require high bandwidth. The LC connectors provide a compact form factor for high-density patch panels and switches, while the 2 m length offers a balance between cable management flexibility and minimal excess slack. The OM3 rating ensures compatibility with 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed multimode applications over typical data centre distances.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching between switches, servers and transceivers
• High-speed multimode links such as 10 Gigabit Ethernet
• Server room and network rack cabling where LC terminations are required
• Short- to medium-range optical connections in enterprise networks

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Length: 2 m
• Transmission: full duplex
• Jacket colour: turquoise (OM3 identification)

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces and clean them with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before insertion. Route the 2 m cable through the rack or patch panel area avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre. Insert LC connectors into matching LC ports on switches, transceivers or patch panels until they click into place to ensure secure mating. Verify link status and run appropriate diagnostic tests or throughput checks to confirm expected performance.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable to avoid kinks and contamination of connector endfaces. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use and follow standard fibre handling procedures. For best results in 10 Gigabit and higher multimode applications, pair OM3 cables with compatible transceivers and maintain clean, properly seated connections.
