Optický kábel ShiverPeaks BS07-500415 3 m LC zelený

The ShiverPeaks BS07-500415 3m LC Green is an OM5 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for full duplex communication, the cable supports high-speed data transmission over short to medium distances commonly found in data centers, server rooms, and enterprise network installations. Its 3-meter length and bright green jacket make it easy to route and identify within cable bundles and racks.

Advantages

This OM5 fibre cable offers consistent multimode performance optimized for short-wave wavelength division multiplexing and high-density networking. The LC connectors provide compact terminations that save port space on switches and transceivers. A 50 µm core enables compatibility with multimode transceivers and typical data center optics, while the full duplex configuration allows simultaneous two-way data exchange. The green outer jacket improves visual identification and management in complex installations.

Suitable for

• Data center patching between switches, servers and storage
• High-density network racks and structured cabling systems
• Short to medium distance multimode links in enterprise LANs
• Connections to multimode LC transceivers and active equipment

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM5 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 3 m
• Connector type: LC on both ends (duplex)
• Jacket colour: green
• Mode: multimode, full duplex

How to use

Verify compatibility of your network equipment with OM5 multimode fibre and LC connectors before installation. Route the 3 m cable between the intended LC ports, avoiding excessive bending and kinks. Ensure connectors are clean and free of dust by using appropriate fibre cleaning tools prior to insertion. Insert the LC connectors into the transceiver or adapter until they click into place and secure cable management with ties or organizers to maintain bend radius and avoid strain on the terminations.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, maintain recommended bend radius and protect connector endfaces from contamination. Use this OM5 cable for short-wave multiplexing or high-density patching where multimode performance and easy identification are required. Store unused cables in a dust-free environment and inspect connectors periodically when reusing or repatching.
