Optický kábel ShiverPeaks BS07-500815 15 m LC zelený

The ShiverPeaks BS07-500815 15m LC Green is an OM5 multimode fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter, designed for high-speed data transmission and duplex communication. Its 15-metre length and bright green jacket make it suitable for medium-length interconnects in data centres, server rooms, and structured cabling installations where colour-coding and OM5 performance aid in managing multi-wavelength systems.

Advantages

This OM5 fibre cable supports wideband multimode transmission over a 50 µm core, enabling reliable high-bandwidth links and full duplex operation. The LC connector interfaces provide compact, industry-standard terminations that fit modern transceivers and patch panels. The green jacket improves visibility for identification in dense cable runs and simplifies maintenance. The cable construction balances flexibility and durability for repeated moves and reconfigurations.

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM5 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC — both ends
• Length: 15 m
• Duplex configuration: full duplex
• Jacket colour: green

How to use

Route the fibre patch cable between LC-compatible ports on transceivers, patch panels, or switches, ensuring both ends are securely inserted into LC adapters until they click. Avoid tight bends and maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the device or fibre manufacturer when laying the cable. Use dust caps or keep ends covered when not connected to prevent contamination of the ferrules. Observe standard electrostatic discharge precautions when handling optical transceivers and connectors.

Recommendations

For best optical performance, clean connector end faces with approved fibre cleaning tools before mating, avoid kinking the cable, and label both ends to match rack documentation. Use the green-coloured OM5 cable to separate multimode wideband links from other fibre types for easier identification during maintenance and upgrades.
