Optický kábel ShiverPeaks BS77931 1 m LC oranžový

The ShiverPeaks BS77931 1 m LC Orange is a multimode OM2 fibre optic patch cable with LC connectors on both ends. It has a 50 µm core diameter designed for short- to medium-range high-speed data links and supports full duplex transmission. The cable's orange jacket provides standardized colour coding for multimode installations, making it easier to identify and manage connections in racks, patch panels and network equipment.

Advantages

This OM2 fibre offers low insertion loss and consistent signal quality for multimode links within data centres and enterprise networks. The LC connectors provide a compact footprint suited to high-density panels and transceivers. The 1 m length reduces excess slack in close-proximity connections while maintaining the necessary flexibility for neat cable routing and reliable mating between ports.

Suitable for

• Short-distance data centre patching and interconnects
• Connections between switches, servers and storage in enterprise networks
• Patch panels and high-density network racks
• Multimode transceiver links that require LC terminations

Key specifications

• Fibre type: Multimode (OM2)
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC, duplex
• Length: 1 m
• Jacket colour: Orange (multimode standard)
• Transmission: Full duplex

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or debris before connection; clean with approved fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Align the LC connectors with the appropriate ports and insert until they latch securely. Use the 1 m cable to link adjacent devices or to connect equipment within the same rack to avoid excessive cabling. Avoid tight bends and maintain the cable bend radius recommended for multimode fibre to preserve signal integrity.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry, dust-free environment. Use fibre dust caps when connectors are not in use and route the cable to prevent pinching or sharp bends. For critical links, verify optical performance with appropriate test equipment after installation.
