Optický kábel Tecline 796SS00 SC OM5 0,5 m zelený limetková

The Tecline 796SS00 SC OM5 0.5 m Green Lime is a short fibre optic patch cable engineered for high-speed data links and full duplex communication. This 0.5 m SC-to-SC cable uses OM5 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter, suitable for modern networking environments where compact runs and minimal latency are required. Its green and lime colouring helps with quick identification and organised cable management in racks and patch panels.

Advantages

The cable provides reliable multimode transmission over OM5 fibre, offering consistent performance for short-distance connections. SC connectors on both ends ensure easy and secure insertion into compatible ports. The short 0.5 m length reduces signal loss and clutter in dense installations, while the distinct green and lime colouring assists visual identification without affecting transmission quality.

Suitable for

• Short-distance connections between network equipment and patch panels
• Data centre and server rack patching
• High-speed LAN links requiring OM5 multimode fibre
• Environments where clear cable identification is needed

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM5 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: SC to SC
• Colour: Green, Lime
• Duplex: Full duplex

How to use

Connect one SC connector to the transmitting port and the other SC connector to the receiving port on the corresponding devices, ensuring proper orientation and secure seating in the SC adapters or ports. Handle the fibre ends by the connector housing and avoid touching or scratching the fibre endfaces. For installation, route the cable along existing cable management channels or use gentle bends that respect the fibre’s minimum bend radius to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

Store and transport the fibre optic cable in a clean, dry place and keep dust caps on connectors when not in use. Inspect and, if necessary, clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before connecting. Use this 0.5 m OM5 SC-SC cable for short, high-performance multimode links in controlled environments such as data centres, server rooms, and telecommunications closets.
