Optický kábel Tecline 798SS00 SC OM4 0,5 m ružový fialový

The Tecline 798SS00 SC OM4 0.5 m Pink Violet is a short-length multimode fibre optic patch cable designed for high-speed short-range links. With OM4 multimode fibre and a 50 µm core diameter it supports full-duplex communication and high-bandwidth data transmission typical for modern data centers, server rooms and telecom closets. The cable uses SC connectors on both ends for reliable push-pull mating and is finished in a distinctive pink and violet jacket for easy visual identification among other network cabling.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre optic cable provides low insertion loss and controlled modal bandwidth for improved performance over legacy multimode fibres. The SC–SC connector pair ensures consistent repeatable connections and quick installation without special tools. The 0.5 m length minimizes excess cable slack in dense patching environments and the dual-color jacket improves cable management and fault tracing in complex racks.

Suitable for

• Short-range high-speed connections in data centers and server cabinets
• Interconnects between switches, transceivers and patch panels
• Test setups and laboratory environments requiring short patch leads
• Environments where color-coded cabling simplifies identification and maintenance

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC (duplex/full-duplex)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Jacket colour: Pink and violet

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces before use and clean if necessary with appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Insert each SC connector into corresponding SC ports on network devices or patch panels until the latch clicks to ensure secure mating. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode fibre. For best performance, avoid excessive twisting and compressive forces on the cable body.

Recommendations

Use this 0.5 m OM4 SC–SC cable for short patching runs where high modal bandwidth is required. Keep connectors capped when not in use, maintain proper bend radius, and store spare leads in a clean, dry environment to preserve optical performance.
