Optický kábel Televes OSK40S 40 m FC sivý

The Televes OSK40S 40 m FC Grey is a single cable solution designed for reliable fibre optic data transmission over medium distances. It comes terminated with FC connectors on both ends and a durable grey outer jacket suitable for installation in networking cabinets, server rooms and telecommunications pathways. The construction supports stable signal integrity and reduced insertion loss for applications that require consistent optical performance.

Advantages

This 40 m fibre optic cable provides consistent transmission characteristics and a secure FC connection at each end, reducing the risk of accidental disconnection. The grey outer sheath offers mechanical protection and an unobtrusive appearance for indoor installations. The cable’s design aims to deliver low attenuation and repeatable performance for high-speed networking and telecom use.

Key specifications

• Length: 40 metres
• Connector type: FC — both ends
• Outer jacket colour: Grey
• Cable type: Fibre optic (single cable with FC terminations)
• Intended use: Indoor networking and telecommunications installations

How to use

Route the Televes OSK40S cable along designated cable management paths, avoiding sharp bends and sources of mechanical strain. Clean FC connectors before mating to active equipment to minimise insertion loss and protect connector end faces with dust caps when not connected. Insert the FC connector into the corresponding FC adapter or transceiver and secure according to the adapter’s coupling mechanism. Ensure excess cable is coiled with a sufficient bend radius and fixed in place to prevent stress on the terminations.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within indoor environments and avoid exposure to prolonged sunlight, excessive moisture or temperatures outside the equipment operating range. Periodically inspect connector end faces and clean with suitable fibre cleaning tools to maintain low attenuation and reliable connections.
