Optický kábel Ubiquiti UACC-OFC-S2-LULU-0.5M-50 LC/LC 0,5 m OS2

The Ubiquiti UACC-OFC-S2-LULU-0.5M-50 is a 0.5 m LC/LC fibre optic patch cable with OS2 single-mode fibre and full duplex configuration. It is designed for high-speed data transmission and short interconnects in networking equipment, providing a compact, low-loss link between devices in data centers, server racks, or office network cabinets.

Advantages

This LC/LC patch cable offers OS2 single-mode performance for low attenuation over longer runs within the same facility and full duplex connectors for simultaneous bidirectional transmission. The 0.5 meter length reduces excess cable slack in dense racks and helps maintain neat cable management. Connectors are compatible with standard LC ports and the cable is suitable for typical networking gear supporting up to 100G links.

Suitable for

• Short interconnects between switches, transceivers and patch panels
• Server rack and data centre horizontal or vertical connections
• Office network cabinets and telecom equipment

Key specifications

• Brand: UBIQUITI
• Model / MPN: UACC-OFC-S2-LULU-0.5M-50
• Connector type: LC to LC (duplex)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Fibre type: OS2 (single-mode)
• Application: up to 100G connections (dependent on transceivers and system)

How to use

Ensure both network devices support LC duplex single-mode connections and power down equipment if required by your site procedures. Align the LC connectors with the device ports and push until the latch clicks. Route the 0.5 m cable to avoid sharp bends and strain on the connectors; secure it with cable management accessories if needed. Verify link status on connected devices and test throughput with appropriate tools or transceivers.

Recommendations

Handle the fibre ends by the connector housing, keep dust caps on until installation, and clean connector endfaces with approved fibre cleaning tools before mating. Avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius and store spare cables in a loss-free coiling method to preserve performance.
