PIR detektor pohybu Renkforce 160° biely IP20

The Renkforce PIR motion sensor with a 160° detection angle and white housing is an indoor passive infrared detector designed to sense human movement and trigger lighting, alarm systems or home automation devices. With IP20 protection it is intended for dry indoor environments such as corridors, rooms and entryways where reliable presence detection is required. The compact design and wide coverage allow mounting on walls or ceilings to monitor common traffic areas and initiate connected responses from switches or control units.

Advantages

This PIR motion sensor offers a wide 160° detection angle for broad coverage and reliable passive infrared sensing for human presence. The white housing blends into interior environments while the IP20 rating ensures suitability for typical indoor spaces. The sensor is compatible with standard control circuits for triggering lights, alarms or automation inputs, and its simple construction supports quick installation and low-maintenance operation.

Suitable for

• Corridors and hallways
• Residential rooms and entryways
• Small offices and service areas
• Triggering lighting, alarms or automation controllers

Key specifications

• Detection technology: passive infrared (PIR)
• Detection angle: 160°
• Housing colour: white
• Protection rating: IP20 (indoor use, dry locations)
• Mounting: wall or ceiling mounting compatible

How to use

Install the sensor at a suitable height on a wall or ceiling to cover the intended detection zone, avoiding direct exposure to heating vents or reflective surfaces that can reduce sensitivity. Connect the sensor to the lighting circuit, alarm input or automation controller according to the wiring diagram supplied with the sensor and local electrical regulations. Adjust the sensor position so the main traffic flows pass through the centre of the detection zone for optimal triggering. After installation, verify proper operation by walking through the coverage area and confirming the connected load responds as expected.

Recommendations

Place the sensor where it has an unobstructed view of the monitored area and keep it away from direct sunlight, air-conditioning outlets and other strong heat sources. For reliable operation in indoor settings, follow local wiring codes and use appropriate protective devices; regular visual inspection and occasional cleaning of the lens will help maintain consistent detection performance.
