PLANET 1-portový 100/1000X SFP sieťový mediakonvertor modrý

The PLANET GUP-805A-60W is a 1-port 100/1000X SFP network media converter with an LC fiber connector, metal housing and a 60 W PoE budget. Compliant with IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ standards, it supplies power and gigabit data over all four pairs of Cat5e/6 UTP cabling to support high-power PoE devices while also providing fiber uplink via its SFP slot for extended-distance connections.

Advantages

This media converter delivers up to 60 watts of PoE power per port using 4-pair 802.3bt technology, which is significantly higher than conventional 802.3at PoE+. The built-in SFP interface enables 10/100/1000BASE-T to 100/1000BASE-X media conversion for stable Gigabit performance over fiber. A DIP switch offers selectable PoE output modes (802.3bt, UPOE, Legacy) to ensure compatibility with a wide range of powered devices. The unit’s compact metal housing and LC SFP support make it suitable for deployment in small business and enterprise environments.

Suitable for

• PoE PTZ speed-dome cameras and other high-power surveillance cameras
• Network devices and thin clients requiring PoE power
• All-in-one touch PCs, POS terminals and information kiosks
• Remote digital signage and display installations over fiber
• PoE lighting and other high-power PoE endpoints

How to use

Install an appropriate SFP transceiver in the SFP slot and connect the LC fiber cable to your fiber network. Connect the copper Ethernet cable (Cat5e/6) from the media converter to the PoE-powered device. Use the DIP switch to select the required PoE output mode (802.3bt, UPOE or Legacy) before powering the unit. Ensure the connected PDs comply with the selected mode to allow proper power negotiation and to protect non-standard devices.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use high-quality Cat5e or Cat6 cabling for the PoE connection and compatible SFP transceivers for the intended fiber type and distance. Verify power requirements of connected PDs and choose the appropriate PoE mode to avoid compatibility issues.
