PLANET CoreTrust Key PUF-based FIDO2 bezpečnostný kľúč - FIDO2/U2F USB-A bez ovládačov

With hardware-grade protection and a tamper-resistant design, this FIDO2 key from PLANET offers a practical route to passwordless authentication. It relies on PUF (Physical Unclonable Function) technology to safeguard the private key material, making it difficult for attackers to extract or clone credentials. The CoreTrust Key plugs into a USB-A port and works as a driverless HID device, so deployment is fast across desktop and laptop environments.

Highlights

• FIDO Alliance certified for FIDO2 and U2F workflows
• PUF-based hardware security module protects credentials at the chip level
• USB-A interface with plug-and-play, driverless operation
• Capacitive touch sensor for explicit user presence verification
• ECC P-256 and SHA256 cryptographic operations
• Supports FIDO2 PIN as an additional verification factor
• Works on Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS

In daily use

After plugging the key into a USB-A port, users register it with online services that support FIDO2 or U2F. The LED indicator confirms connection and operation, while the built-in touch sensor requires a deliberate tap during login. For accounts that permit it, a FIDO2 PIN adds another layer of confidence without replacing the physical key. This makes the CoreTrust Key a straightforward choice for individuals and IT teams looking to move away from reusable passwords.
