Plochý skrutkovač Cimco 117705 s izolovanou rukoväťou, plochý hrot

The Screwdriver flat Cimco 117705 with insulated handle, flat-head tip is a manual tool designed for turning slotted (flat-head) screws in electrical and general maintenance applications. The tool combines a precisely shaped flat blade with an insulated handle to reduce the risk of electric shock during work on live or de-energized electrical installations. Its blade profile is intended for secure engagement with slotted screw heads and for controlled torque application in fastening and loosening tasks.

Advantages

The insulated handle provides electrical protection and a comfortable grip for extended use, while the flat-head tip ensures accurate contact with slotted screws to minimize cam-out. The solid blade construction delivers consistent torque transfer and resistance to bending under normal manual loads. The compact overall design makes the tool easy to position in confined spaces and for routine maintenance tasks.

Suitable for

• Electrical installation and maintenance work where insulation is required
• General workshop and household repair tasks involving slotted screws
• Service and assembly operations requiring controlled manual torque
• Work in confined spaces or on switchboards and terminal blocks

Key specifications

• Tip type: flat / slotted
• Handle: insulated for electrical safety
• Drive method: manual
• Blade material: hardened steel (manual tool standard)
• Grip style: ergonomic, non-slip surface
• Typical uses: fastening and loosening slotted screws

How to use

Select a screwdriver size with a blade width that matches the slot in the screw head to ensure full contact. Before working on electrical circuits, verify that the circuit is powered down when possible and follow applicable safety procedures. Hold the insulated handle firmly, align the flat tip with the screw slot, then apply steady axial pressure while turning the handle to tighten or loosen the screw. Avoid using the screwdriver on fasteners that do not match the flat tip profile or on stripped heads.

Recommendations

Inspect the insulated handle and blade before each use for signs of damage, wear, or compromised insulation. Do not use the tool if the insulation is cracked or the blade is bent. For live electrical work, follow local safety regulations and use appropriate personal protective equipment; consider using a voltage tester to confirm the absence of hazardous voltage before contact.
