Pohybový senzor Steinel ST 2800 Wireless stropná montáž biely 5 m dosah

The Steinel ST 2800 Wireless Ceiling White is a compact ceiling-mounted motion detector designed for indoor environments. With a maximum detection range of 5 meters and operation at 5800 MHz, the unit monitors movement and triggers connected lighting or control systems. Its IP20 rating and dimensions of 120 x 120 x 56 mm allow simple integration into residential or commercial ceilings where protection from direct water exposure is not required. The detector accepts an input voltage range of 120–240 V and supports mains frequencies of 50/60 Hz.

Advantages

The wireless design eliminates the need for control wiring to the sensor, enabling flexible placement on ceilings. A small footprint and low profile suit installations with limited space above the ceiling. The detector’s 5 m range offers coverage for medium-sized rooms and corridors, and compatibility with common mains voltages (120–240 V, 50/60 Hz) simplifies integration with existing electrical systems. The unit’s operation at 5800 MHz provides a dedicated frequency for motion detection signalling.

Suitable for

• Indoor ceiling mounting in hallways and corridors
• Stairwells and landing areas
• Small to medium rooms such as storage rooms, utility rooms, and offices
• Areas requiring wireless motion detection without exposed wet conditions

Key specifications

• Detection range: up to 5 meters
• Operating frequency: 5800 MHz
• Protection rating: IP20 (indoor use)
• Input voltage: 120–240 V
• Mains frequency: 50/60 Hz
• Compact dimensions: 120 x 120 x 56 mm
• Mounting type: ceiling
• Color: white

How to use

Mount the detector to a suitable ceiling location where the coverage cone includes the intended detection area and avoid positioning near heat sources or large reflective surfaces that could affect sensing performance. Connect the unit to the building mains in accordance with local electrical codes, ensuring power is isolated during installation. After powering, follow any pairing or commissioning steps required by the receiving lighting or control equipment so the detector can transmit motion events wirelessly to the system. Test the coverage by walking through the monitored area and adjust placement if necessary.

Recommendations

For reliable detection, install the device centrally over the area to be covered and maintain the recommended mounting height specified by the system documentation. Avoid locations with direct exposure to drafts, strong sunlight, or sources of rapid temperature change. Use the detector indoors only and do not expose it to moisture or outdoor conditions.
