The Brennenstuhl 1169710100 power extension is a 10 metre outdoor extension lead with three AC outlets, designed to supply power to electrical devices in external environments. The unit is finished in black and red and features IP44 protection for reliable performance in wet or dusty conditions. With an emphasis on safe operation, the extension lead incorporates overheating prevention to reduce the risk of thermal damage during extended use. Its compact housing measures approximately 250mm x 130mm x 250mm and the total weight is about 1.86 kg, making it portable for garden, terrace or construction-site use.

Advantages

The 10 m cable length provides extended reach from the power source while the three AC outlets allow simultaneous connection of multiple devices. IP44 splash and dust protection permits safe outdoor use under typical garden and patio conditions. Built-in overheating prevention improves operational safety during prolonged use. The durable casing in black and red offers visual contrast for easier location and handling outdoors.

How to use

Place the extension lead on a stable, level surface and route the cable away from sharp edges and pinch points. Connect the plug to a suitable earthed outdoor socket and insert devices into the three AC outlets. Avoid overloading the extension by checking the combined power consumption of connected devices against the rating of the supply circuit. Keep the unit elevated or on a dry support to reduce direct contact with wet ground and ensure the IP44-rated enclosure faces away from direct water jets.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the cable and connectors for damage before each use; do not use if insulation is cut or connectors are loose. Unplug the extension lead when not in use and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. Use the extension lead only with compatible earthed equipment and respect the maximum load of the supply circuit to maintain safe operation.
