Keep the cable routed safely to avoid tripping hazards and do not cover the housing while in use to ensure ventilation.

Recommendations

Do not connect devices that exceed the combined rated current of the surge protector. Inspect the unit and cable regularly for damage; discontinue use if the housing or cable is damaged. The surge protector provides additional protection against voltage spikes but does not guarantee complete immunity from all power events—sensitive equipment may require dedicated protection.
