How to use

Attach the lavalier microphone to the wearer’s clothing near the mouth, typically on a lapel, collar or tie, ensuring the capsule faces outward and is not obstructed by fabric. Connect the microphone cable to the bodypack transmitter input and secure the transmitter on the belt or in a pocket. Perform a soundcheck and adjust transmitter gain or receiver levels to achieve clear voice reproduction without clipping. Positioning the mic 15–20 cm from the mouth is a practical starting point; adjust placement slightly to balance clarity and background noise pickup.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid placing the microphone directly under necklaces or heavy clothing that can rub against the capsule. Use a windscreen or foam cover in outdoor or windy conditions to reduce wind noise. Regularly check cable connections and the clip attachment before use to maintain reliable operation during presentations or performances.
