Qoltec 54209 RJ45 sieťový rozbočovač 1x RJ45 konektor samec na 2x RJ45 konektor samica čierny

This RJ45 network splitter from Qoltec enables two devices to share a single Ethernet cable run, making it a practical solution for extending network connectivity in homes and small offices. It splits the 8-wire cable into two 4-wire connections, supporting Fast Ethernet speeds up to 100 Mbps. The passive design requires no external power and works with Cat5, Cat5e, and Cat6 cabling, offering a simple plug-and-play installation.

Advantages

The splitter features nickel-plated connectors and a durable ABS plastic housing, ensuring reliable performance and long-term use. Its compact size allows for easy placement behind desks or in tight spaces. By utilizing existing cabling, it reduces the need for additional network switches or long cable runs, saving both cost and installation effort.

Suitable for

• Connecting IP phones, older PCs, or CCTV cameras that require only 4-wire Ethernet
• Extending network access in areas with limited cabling infrastructure
• Temporary setups where a second network drop is needed without running new cables
• Home and small office environments where simplicity and cost-effectiveness are priorities

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this splitter in pairs: one at the source to combine two connections onto one cable, and another at the destination to split them back. Note that it does not support simultaneous full-speed network access for two devices from a single port; each device will share the 100 Mbps bandwidth. Ideal for applications where only 4-wire Ethernet is needed.
