Rádio Bridge Mimosa B6x 5.15-6.4GHz 802.11ac

The Mimosa B6x Radio Bridge delivers high-capacity wireless backhaul suitable for demanding point-to-point and short-range point-to-multipoint deployments. Operating across the 5.15–6.4 GHz band and compliant with the 802.11ac standard, the unit provides up to 3.4 Gbps of aggregate throughput. The integrated radio design eliminates the need for external antenna components when used with compatible mounting and deployment scenarios, enabling a compact installation footprint for links that require high throughput and low latency.

Advantages

The Mimosa B6x combines wide frequency coverage and 802.11ac performance to support high-throughput wireless links in environments where fiber is impractical. Its integrated radio architecture reduces installation complexity and hardware count. With support for gigabit-class throughput, the device is suitable for transporting large volumes of user, business or backhaul traffic while maintaining predictable performance and efficient spectrum use.

Suitable for

• Point-to-point wireless backhaul between buildings or sites
• Short-range wireless aggregation and distribution links
• Rapid deployment of temporary or permanent network links where fiber is unavailable
• Capacity upgrades for existing wireless networks requiring higher throughput

Key specifications

• Operating frequency range: 5.15–6.4 GHz
• Wireless standard: IEEE 802.11ac
• Maximum aggregate throughput: up to 3.4 Gbps
• Integrated radio design (no external antenna required for compatible setups)
• Form factor: outdoor wireless bridge unit suitable for mounting on poles or masts

How to use

Install the Mimosa B6x at both ends of the intended link following line-of-sight alignment guidelines. Mount units securely to poles or masts using appropriate brackets and ensure clear Fresnel zone clearance for the selected frequency. Configure link parameters—channel, bandwidth, and power—through the device management interface and verify synchronization between units. Perform throughput and signal tests to confirm link stability and make small alignment adjustments as needed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, choose clear line-of-sight paths and assign channels to minimize interference in the 5.15–6.4 GHz band. Regularly monitor link statistics and update device firmware to maintain compatibility and security. Consider professional RF planning for longer links or congested spectrum environments.
