Why choose it

The S/FTP construction pairs an overall braided screen with foil around each twisted pair, effectively blocking electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and ensure consistent signal integrity over time. The snagless design protects the locking tab from accidental breakage during installation in tight spaces, and the flame-retardant PVC jacket adds an extra layer of safety in office or industrial settings.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting computers to switches, routers, or patch panels in structured cabling systems
• High-speed data transfer in 10GBASE-T networks where interference is a concern
• Durable patching in server rooms, data centres, or areas with frequent re-cabling

Good to know

This cable is backward compatible with CAT 5e and CAT 5 networks. The stranded copper conductors provide flexibility for easy routing, while the 2-metre length is ideal for short patch connections without excess slack. Each cable is individually packaged and tested to meet CAT 6 performance standards.
