Rezačka polystyrénu Rothenberger Industrial 190 W – ručná rezačka peny, výkon 190 W

Electric polystyrene cutter Rothenberger Industrial 190 W is a handheld foam cutter designed for controlled cutting of expanded polystyrene (EPS) and other foam materials. The tool delivers 190 W of power to maintain steady heating of the cutting element, enabling precise straight and curved cuts for shaping insulation boards, packaging foam and decorative elements. The compact handheld design supports work on construction sites, in workshops and for hobby model making where accurate profiling of foam is required.

Advantages

The device provides consistent temperature control for the cutting wire, which reduces the need for multiple passes and helps achieve clean edges. Its handheld format and balanced weight distribution make it convenient for extended use and detailed shaping. The cutter heats quickly to operational temperature, enabling faster workflow when trimming insulation panels or producing curved shapes. The tool’s design focuses on durability and simple operation to suit both professional and occasional users.

Suitable for

• Cutting and shaping expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation boards
• Trimming packaging foam and custom inserts
• Making architectural models, props and decorative elements
• Creating curved profiles and precise straight cuts for renovation tasks

Key specifications

• Power: 190 W nominal heating power for stable cutting temperature
• Tool type: handheld foam cutter suitable for polystyrene and similar materials
• Cutting modes: supports straight and curved cutting techniques depending on user guidance
• Heating element: thin cutting wire designed for minimal material drag and clean edges
• Typical applications: insulation trimming, model making, packaging and decorative shaping

How to use

Connect the cutter to a compatible mains supply and allow the heating element to reach operating temperature before beginning work. Mark the intended cutting line on the foam surface and guide the heated wire steadily along the mark, using a single smooth pass for best results. For curved shapes, maintain a constant speed to prevent overheating or uneven edges. After use, switch the tool off and allow the element to cool completely before storing or replacing accessories.

Recommendations

Use in well-ventilated areas and avoid inhaling fumes that may be released while cutting certain foam types. Wear appropriate personal protection such as gloves and eye protection when necessary. For thicker or denser foam, consider multiple controlled passes rather than forcing a single rapid cut. Store the cutter in a dry place and inspect the cutting wire regularly for wear; replace the wire if it shows signs of damage to ensure consistent cutting quality.
