InfiniBand/Sklolaminátový kábel EFB Elektronik O0314.5 5 m LC SC modrý

The EFB Elektronik O0314.5 is a 5 m InfiniBand/fibre optic cable with LC and SC connectors designed for high-speed data transmission. Manufactured by EFB Elektronik under the Infralan brand, this multimode cable with a 50 µm core diameter supports full duplex communication and is intended for structured cabling in networking and data centre environments.

Advantages

The cable combines German and European production standards with the flexibility of a medium-sized manufacturer and the stability of an established solutions provider. Its LC and SC connector combination ensures compatibility with a variety of network devices, while the 50 µm multimode core supports reliable, high-bandwidth links over short to medium distances. The 5 m length offers convenient reach for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-panel connections.

Suitable for

• InfiniBand connections in server and storage clusters
• Patching between fibre panels and network equipment
• Data centre and server room structured cabling
• High-speed short- to medium-distance links

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for contamination before installation. Insert the LC connector into the corresponding LC port and the SC connector into the SC port until a secure mechanical fit is achieved. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Verify link status and data transmission through connected equipment or testing tools to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connectors covered when not in use, avoid tight bends and kinks, and use fibre cleaning tools when necessary. Choose multimode links with appropriate transceivers and patch panels that support LC and SC interfaces to ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure.
