The EXSYS EX-44388 PCI-Express interface card provides eight serial RS-232 high-performance UART 16C1050 ports. It is designed to add eight additional serial ports to a PC, small workstation or server via the PCI Express bus and is suitable for low-profile systems. The card is fully PCI-Express plug-and-play compatible and avoids IRQ and I/O address conflicts. Pin 9 of each serial connector can be configured to supply either +5V or +12V for POS or powered serial devices. A low-profile bracket is included for installation in narrow PC cases.

How to use

Install the EX-44388 into an available PCIe slot on a powered-off computer, secure the card with the appropriate bracket (standard or low-profile) and reconnect power. Boot the system; the card is PCI-Express plug-and-play and should be recognized by the operating system.
