Rozširujúca karta Silverstone TS06 USB 2.0

SilverStone Treasure TS06 is a compact USB 2.0 external enclosure and interface adapter for notebook users. It converts a 12.7 mm slimline SATA optical drive bay into a portable optical drive, and its conversion tray also accepts a 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD so you can add extra storage or use a drive for backup and data transfer. The enclosure has a built-in retractable USB 2.0 cable and a slim black design suitable for mobile use.

Advantages

The TS06 provides a simple way to repurpose a laptop's optical drive bay into either an external optical drive or an additional 2.5" SATA storage device without requiring internal installation. Its built-in retractable USB 2.0 cable keeps the connection tidy and portable, and the compact, lightweight black enclosure is easy to carry. Compatibility with 12.7 mm slimline SATA optical drives and standard 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD makes it versatile for data transfer, backups, and expanding storage.

Suitable for

• Turning a laptop's slimline optical drive into an external USB optical drive
• Adding a 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD in place of the optical drive to expand storage or improve performance
• Data transfer and backup between SATA drives and USB-equipped computers

How to use

Remove the laptop's slimline optical drive and insert it into the TS06 enclosure if you want an external optical drive, or place a 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD into the conversion tray to use as additional storage. Close the enclosure according to the product's assembly steps, extend the retractable USB 2.0 cable and connect it to a laptop USB port. The drive should be recognised by the operating system; no internal installation is required. For drive swapping, safely eject the drive from the OS before disconnecting the USB cable.

Recommendations

Use the TS06 with modern operating systems that support USB mass storage. For faster data transfer rates, consider using a native USB 3.0/3.x enclosure or port when working with large files, as this product uses USB 2.0. Always power off the laptop or safely eject the drive before removing it to avoid data loss.
