S-FTP Cat.6a sieťový kábel Telegärtner 15 m

The Telegärtner S-FTP Cat.6a networking cable in a 15 m length is designed for structured cabling and point-to-point Ethernet connections. It supports high-speed data transfer and stable signal transmission through foil-screened twisted pairs with an additional braided shield, and comes terminated with RJ-45 plugs on both ends. The cable's Cat.6a specification enables reliable performance for Gigabit Ethernet and many Power over Ethernet applications within the specified installation environment.

Advantages

The S-FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or nearby electrical equipment. A 15 m reach provides flexibility for typical room-to-room or rack-to-workstation connections without intermediate patch panels. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure plug-and-play installation and consistent contact quality.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet networks (1000BASE-T)
• Office and home LAN connections between switches, routers and endpoints
• Structured cabling runs where improved shielding is required
• Applications combining data and Power over Ethernet within Cat.6a limits

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6a (augmented performance for next-generation Ethernet)
• Shielding: S-FTP — foil around each pair plus overall braided shield
• Length: 15 metres
• Connectors: RJ-45 plug on both ends, 8P8C
• Color: green
• Supported data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s in typical Gigabit Ethernet use

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of a switch, router or patch panel and the other to the network device such as a PC, IP camera or access point. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of excessive mechanical stress; maintain bend radii consistent with Cat.6a cable requirements. For installations near strong EMI sources, place the cable to maximize the benefit of its S-FTP shielding.

Recommendations

For reliable Gigabit performance, use this Cat.6a cable for direct device connections up to 15 m. Avoid running the cable in the same tray as high-voltage power lines; if parallel routing is necessary, maintain separation or use grounded metallic conduits. Inspect connectors for damage before use and replace the cable if the shielding or jacket is compromised.
