S/FTP patch kábel Cat.6a ROLINE 30 m

The ROLINE S/FTP Patch Cord Cat.6a 30m is a grey, high-quality network patch cable designed for reliable data transmission between devices. Constructed with four solid copper pairs and full braid shielding combined with foil-wrapped pairs, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and supports stable connections for networking and PoE setups. Both ends are fitted with screened RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts and moulded kink protection for improved durability.

Advantages

This Cat.6a S/FTP patch cord provides complete braid shielding with aluminium-clad polyester foil on each pair to minimize crosstalk and external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The cable uses a 1:1 contact configuration in accordance with the EIA/TIA 568 standard and is suitable for applications that require reliable screened connections over twisted pair, including PoE and multimedia transmissions. The moulded strain relief at each connector increases mechanical durability.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices in LAN environments
• Power over Ethernet (PoE) deployments
• Multimedia and AV systems using twisted-pair extension
• Patch panels, switches and routers in server rooms or workstations

Key specifications

• Cable length: 30 m
• Cable type: S/FTP (overall braid shielding + foil on pairs)
• Conductor: 4 pairs solid copper
• Connectors: Screened RJ-45 — RJ-45
• Contact configuration: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Contact finish: Gold plated
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Route the patch cord between the two network devices, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges. Insert the screened RJ-45 plugs fully into the corresponding ports on switches, routers or network interfaces until they click. Use the moulded kink protection to prevent damage near the connector ends. For permanent installations, ensure proper cable management and secure the cable to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and maintain bend radius recommendations. Use in accordance with PoE power class limits and follow network device specifications when deploying in critical infrastructure.
