S-VGA monitorový kábel ShiverPeaks 78056-20, 20 m, tienený, 2 × 15-pinový

The S-VGA Monitor Cable ShiverPeaks 78056-20 is a 20 m shielded video cable with two 15-pin connectors designed for analog VGA/SVGA signal transmission. It carries RGB analog signals between PC video outputs and monitors or projectors, with shielding and ferrite elements to reduce electromagnetic interference and preserve image stability over long cable runs. The cable features molded connector housings and a black outer jacket suitable for professional AV environments.

Advantages

This shielded S-VGA cable provides consistent analog video transmission across a 20-meter distance while minimizing signal degradation caused by external electromagnetic interference. Molded connector housings protect the 15-pin plugs from mechanical wear and ensure reliable mating. Integrated ferrite cores further suppress high-frequency noise for clearer display output, making the cable appropriate for fixed AV setups where cable integrity and stable signal quality are required.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs to monitors in offices and workstations
• Linking laptops or video sources to projectors in classrooms and lecture halls
• AV installations in conference rooms and meeting spaces
• Temporary event setups where a 20 m VGA run is needed

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 meters
• Connector type: 2 × 15-pin D-sub (VGA/SVGA)
• Shielding: braided/overall shielding with ferrite suppression
• Characteristic impedance: 75 ohm
• Connector housings: molded, durable design
• Color: black outer jacket

How to use

Connect one 15-pin D-sub plug to the VGA output of the PC, laptop or video source and the other plug to the VGA input of the monitor or projector. Ensure screws on the D-sub connectors are tightened securely but not over-torqued to maintain a good electrical connection. Route the cable away from strong power lines and high-frequency equipment where possible to further reduce interference. For permanent installations, secure the cable along racks or raceways to avoid strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal image quality at 20 m, verify source and display resolutions are compatible with analog transmission and avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable. If additional noise suppression is needed, position the ferrite cores near the source or display end. Inspect connectors periodically for corrosion or damage and replace the cable if signal loss or intermittent display issues appear.
