How to use

Assemble components on the PCB following the supplied manual: solder the trim potentiometer, terminal connectors and any required capacitors or resistors specified in the assembly instructions. Mount the LM317-T regulator into the TO-220 footprint and, if necessary, attach an appropriate heatsink using the board’s mounting provision and insulating hardware if isolation is required. Apply input voltage within the specified limits, adjust the trim potentiometer to set the desired output voltage, and verify the output with a multimeter before connecting sensitive loads.

Recommendations

Use an LM317-T regulator rated for the expected input-output voltage differential and load current, and provide adequate heat dissipation. Observe correct polarity and grounding when connecting the input and output. Follow the assembly manual for recommended capacitor placement to ensure regulator stability.
